Nine adventurers set out on a two-day expedition to explore and research the strange and beguiling landscape of the Leslie St. Spit; a 5km man-made peninsula, wildlife sanctuary and active construction dumpsite.

The East End Expedition Series is a string of ongoing, artist-led projects and research-based expeditions that investigate, navigate and re-contextualize the urban natural spaces in Toronto's east-end.

BLINDNESS is an awareness campaign, a fundraiser and a celebration of Tibet's rich culture, a culture that continues to persevere despite years of political oppression.

Presented by Labspace Studio, Monosaic is an annual group show of little "monotone" artworks that collectively create one unified installation. For this project, over 100 artists have crafted close to 200 original "monotone" squares (6"x6") using both traditional and digital mediums.

This relational performance will take the form of a 1-week long walk-in repair shop, with an open invitation for all visitors to come in with something of theirs that is broken or wonky that they would like us to work on. The Performance Art Repair Shop will reflect the fluctuating personality of the economy.

Hot Soup is a monthly series serving up some of the city's finest innovators in sound and performance in jazz, experimental sound, contemporary dance and theatre.

"It's a Small World After All" is a low-fi performance intervention that explores the relationship between audience and performer on screen. Using webcams and skype feeds, this collective of artists will perform a series of interactive scenes - some playful, some intimate, some surprising - in an attempt to spark a two-way performance among strangers via. a digital medium.

Labspace Studio's Deconstructing Hip is a sociological investigation and cultural excavation, a romp into the lineage of hip culture from Ginsberg to Williamsburg, scene to mainstream, hepcats to hipsters.

...this collective of artists will perform a site-specific durational work: some clad in beachwear from the period basking and enjoying the beach, while others dressed as construction workers will begin to bury the beachgoers under a pile of gravel. The performance evolves into an ominous sculptural installation as the beachgoers remain buried, embodying the history of Parkdale.

“Chemical Nation” is a show about dependency and control. In a Chemical Nation, are we in control of our bodies? What have we gained? What have we lost? What are you on?

“Idol Love” will explore the intricate and complex relationships between the concepts of ‘idols’, ‘celebrities’, ‘worship’, ‘obsession’, and ‘god’.
